Huldra
A downloadable game
Huldra is a narrative TTRPG for 3-5 people. To play you need this rulebook, a single suit from a deck of cards and something to note own how many memories your characters are carrying.
The game is about overcoming emotional pain, and feeling like you are part of a community. The humans have traumas that shape them and the Huldra wants to feel their company but is afraid of revealing themself. You play these people and their interactions with each other and the world.
The text in these rules is written by me, based on Avery Alder's Dream Askew, Jay Dragon's Sleepaway and Remi Garreau's Feathers. The illustrations are by my friend Martina Sundelin, based on Swedish summers and me asking for bird skulls.
